On the heels of a decade as the CEO of one of the region’s top residential community developers, Mr. Corley has established Edward Andrews Homes with the goal of becoming Georgia’s premier private homebuilder.
As founder, principal and CEO of Edward Andrews Homes, Mr. Corley is active in the day-to-day management of the firm, responsible for its overall direction and execution of its growth strategy. He manages the firm’s key relationships and contacts with bankers and investors as well as developers and builders. He employs his expertise as one of the area’s most successful residential developers to assess the opportunities available in today’s markets and leverage the contacts that will maximize profit for Edward Andrews Homes and its investors, bankers, contractors and other partners.
Mr. Corley’s homebuilding experience dates back to 1987 and his position as project manager in Washington, DC, and then Atlanta for Ryland Group, then one of the nation’s three largest residential developers. He oversaw all phases of construction for single and multi-family housing through completion, managing an extensive subcontractor network of more than 50 companies. In 1991, he moved to Contech Construction Products, where he was the firm’s top producing sales engineer in the Southeast for three consecutive years.
As founder and CEO of PEC Development Group, Mr. Corley built an organization reputed for its expertise in site selection and for quality developments that offer superior amenities. Beginning with a single community in North Atlanta, PEC has extended its reach to numerous areas of Atlanta – from Buckhead to Forsyth, South Fulton to North Fulton, Cherokee to Henry, Gwinnett to Douglas.
Mr. Corley is an active contributor to his industry. He participates in numerous industry associations, including the National Homebuilders Association, Greater Atlanta Homebuilders Association and is on the board of directors for the Atlanta area Council for Quality Growth. He is a long-standing Full Member of the Urban Land Institute and member of its Council for Small Scale Development.
